Yes I have been missing in action WAY too long...

For those of you that actually read my blog and those that have visited from time to time, I apologize that I have not updated regularly.  I have decided, with God's direction, to pursue photography full time so I have had lots of changes going on in my life recently. I have developed a new website and blog to further my business, as well as making some changes business-wise that will benefit me as a service provider and you, the client.  I will still post on this blog from time to time but if you would like to keep up with the latest and greatest in my photography world please click on the link below to be directed there.  Thanks again for all your support and please continue to pray for me in this new adventure!! :)  God bless you all!

My sweet friend Lyndsy at 7 months...

I have known this special lady since she appeared in my husband's science class as  his student.  Then to have her as my kids only babysitter as she grew up and went to high school and college.  Then to spend time with her at our church, work alongside her teaching, having her assist me in my photography business, being my biggest word-of-mouth advertiser :), and one of my closest friends through all these years.  I am honored to be able to experience her pregnancy with her, take pictures of this beautiful, glowing soon-to-be Momma, and eventually take this sweet little boy's newborn pictures and many, many more!!! In only a few weeks we will get to meet this wonderful little guy, and this sweet lady's life will be turned upside down!!! ;)  Can't wait!!!

Reilly Jo is ONE...can you believe it?!

About a year ago, little Reilly Jo was one of my first newborn photo shoots.  She was just amazingly adorable and I am so happy to have had the pleasure of photographing her at one year of age, already!  I not only was  blessed to do her 1 yr portraits but also got to do my first Cake Smash professionally.  Wow, what a treat!  Below is my first blog board attempt in honor of that occasion!
Have a blessed Friday and weekend!

Peyton...the 6 year old

Well this boy turned 6 February 27th.  However, since these last few months have been a whirlwind and this birthday boy would  NOT let me take his 6 year old pictures they did not get posted until now.  I finally got some leverage to bribe him into letting me take his 6 year old pictures.  He got a slushy from Sonic and got to go to the baseball game with dad, but only after he completed the shoot :)  I am having to get creative lately!!
So here are some precious, if I do say so myself, pictures of my growing little boy!

Just for my own personal memory...this boy is into playing outside, making his own lunches, helping his mommy around the house, sleeping/snugggling with his mommy, going to baseball games with daddy, riding his bike around the neighborhood to pick up trash, doing his homework, reading, wearing mismatched socks to school each day, making lemonade by himself, writing little notes and posting them all over the house, making crafts with Grama, and going to Granny and  Grandpa's to play/work on the farm.  Love him so!!!  :)

Blessings on this Easter Sunday...

I hope all of you have had a blessed Easter. We enjoyed some time with family and very close friends this long weekend and had a blast.  So good to visit and catch up and let the kids play.  My husband and I were discussing this morning while driving to church that it is so sad for those that are throwing parties, have multiple egg hunts, going to ball games, etc and have totally lost the meaning or have no true realization of the signifigance of this holiday.  It is the 2nd most important holiday to Christians and so hard to make it through any part of today without thinking about the torture of our Savior and the blood shed for each one of us so undeservingly.  I pray that we as a nation will repent and find solice knowing Jesus bled, died, and rose again to save us from that certain death we would have faced in hell had He not been our saving grace!  Truly a blessing beyond  all words!
I hope you all had a blessed Easter and know the true meaning of this miraculous day!
God bless you all!
