A few from this week...more to come!

We have had 4 Christmases in 3 days and are going for #5 tomorrow.  So I have a TON of pictures to sort through.  These are just a few of the kids I wanted to share.  More to follow as soon as I have a chance to view and sort out.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day and took time to think about the reason for this miraculous season!
God bless you, The Gauer Family

Santa came!  Guess they were good??!  So happy with their loot!

She waited and waited for her.  Now "Jade" is finally part of our family.  Thanks Santa!

Bubba got his big boat and trailer set and his camo pants and camo shirt. Totally thrilled!

Our visit with Santa

We actually went to visit Santa a few weeks ago but I have been backtracking on the blog.  The kids could not wait.  We made a fun family day out of it.  We went to see Santa, went to Build-A-Bear to make Christmas (surprise) animals, and then to buy gifts for Mommy and Daddy.  We do the trade-off thing and get it done in one day, as they want to be able to pick things out.  This year they even had a list of other family members of what they wanted to buy based on their likes/dislikes.  Jaedyn did a great job.  She is teaching Peyton a little bit along.  They were talking non-stop until we got to Santa's lap.  Then they couldn't hardly speak.  They were in disbelief that they were actually talking to him.  They have always loved him.  Neither have been afraid of him much since they were babies.  Truth be told, it is always one of Mommy's highlights of the season too.  Love seeing that joyful little man!
Hope you have a blessed Christmas over the next few days.  We start our celebrations tomorrow.  Can't wait to see so many family members I rarely get to spend much time with!
Don't forget the reason for the season!
Thank you Lord for your gift of your son Jesus!

Get together with friends and gingerbread houses...

We had a blast with our friends tonight. Just a night to get together and visit and let the kids enjoy just playing.  We decided to decorate gingerbread houses.  Wow, what an adventure, especially with 5 kids.  They turned out pretty well, except for the one that didn't quite make it.  Plenty of sugar was consumed and lots of fun was had by all...

Fun, relaxing day

Today was a great day.  My brother and sister-in-law came for a visit for several hours to spend some time with the kids.  They baked and decorated cookies and played board games with the kids.  The kids absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough. They collapsed into bed a few minutes ago and  immediately passed out!  Love days like this where they are bonding with family and making memories! So great to watch them all together! In fact, Peyton was up at 5:30 this morning asking when they would be here.  OMgoodness!
Here are a few pics from the day...

Well, it is finally here...Christmas Break!

Yahoo!  Just didn't think it would ever get here.  Getting up at 5:00 and going to bed at midnight each night was just about to get to me.  It came just in time!  This week has been a challenge and really humbled me into just taking one moment at a time.  Between flushing my phone down the toilet, spilling sticky apple juice (a lot of it) all over my kitchen floor, spilling an entire mug of water down into my printer, and all the demands of class parties, gifts, etc for 4 people I am just pooped!  Anyway, enough complaining about my week... This weekend will be spent making my house inhabitable again, preparing for all the celebrations of Christmas this next week at our house, making some fun Christmas memories with my kids, and maybe a little relaxing could be worked in too! I am so excited to see all my family over the next two weeks and spend some time together.  This time of year is so special and I just want to focus on the real reason  instead of the materialism.  Loving the new devotional I got that puts more meaning back in Christmas for the family of young children. Can't wait to start it this weekend with the kids!  Hope you all are full of the Christmas spirit and planning lots of fun times with your family the next several days. Remember how lucky we are to have family and friends to celebrate with and how our Savior was born on that special day to save us all.  All we have to do is receive Him in our heart we will live with Him in eternity.  What better gift could  any of us ever receive?!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!  And may we all remember to take a moment to reflect on this season and all that it means.
God Bless you!
Warning... Unedited photos to follow!

Sweet Sweet little boy and his parents...

Don't our friends, the Rogers, have the absolute eat-you-up cutest little boy you ever saw (well besides mine but then he has been a little rotten lately so I can drool over their little darling since he is too young to be a stinker :)

I'm here...

Working feverishly to get photos edited for clients!  All my sessions were booked and are wrapped up.  Now I am just to the editing part.  I have two more to do to complete my first Christmas Family Photo season.  I was so blessed by the wonderful response I got from friends, family, and friends of friends to be a part of their day to make memories!  Thank you to all who booked with me, have been patient with me in this new endeavor, and for those that have been speaking praises of my work to attract more business!  I am so blessed to have you all!
So hang in there with me on the blog posting!  I will be back this week to post pictures from the last several sessions that I have completed.  So stay tuned...

Lots going on this month, as with all of you as well, I am sure!
God bless!
