Shane and Lyndsy...so happy for you both!

I am so excited!  One of my best friends, semi-sister, (really even a little like a daughter to me), is expecting.  I am going to have the pleasure of helping them document this amazing adventure the next 7-8 months. I took a few pictures of the "before" aspect this month.  There will be much more to share as we take more trimester pictures, maternity pictures, hospital pictures (only the approved ones) :), and of course the most adorable newborn pictures you have ever seen :).  So stay tuned...

Well it seems I got the cart before the horse...I posted some pictures of sweet little Clay, the newborn but never did get his gorgeous Momma's pictures from her maternity shoot posted.  So I wanted to share a few...

This family is just like family to me.  So fun and silly that you can't help but laugh.  Always a smile on their face and a little loving on each other.  Makes me so happy to capture that!

Catching up...

Trying to play catch up so there will likely be a few posts over the next few days...mainly photo shoots I have been swamped with (blessed is more like it, thank you Lord!) and then I will post on the latest family happenings for those in the family that actually visit my blog.  Hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!  God has truly blessed  my family and I and we have so much to be grateful for!

Newborn love...

Updating the old blog...been super-swamped lately.  Wow how one day just runs into the next and I am lucky to slow down to sleep.  Haven't slept much this week.  Been too excited to get pictures edited that I have had the awesome opportunity to take.  Busy weekend of Christmas mini sessions coming up too.  Can't wait!  Take a look at this sweet little two week old.  So adorable...

It's A Giveaway!

Okay, so I have been wanting to do this for a while but with lack of time it just has been on the backburner.  Since the little one is sick this week it has left me time to catch up on some things I have had on my to-do list for a while.  So... here are the details.  There will be only one winner to this giveaway.  On December 1st I will announce the winner.  Between November 1st (today) and December 1st have as many friends/family as you can beg to go onto Jennifer Gauer Photography facebook page or here on my blog and "like" my page or "follow" my blog. Once they have done this, they can leave a comment that you sent them and "vote" for your name.  The person who has the most people to come to either place and "vote" for their name is the winner!  Also,  just a hint, when "following" my blog please sign in with your first and last name so I have an idea of  who you are.  A nickname or first name only is really hard to track down!  :) 
Oh, one more thing, the details of the winning portrait session...It includes a 30 minute session, with up to 4 people, location of session to be within 20 minutes of  Whitney area,  a CD with at least 20 edits, and session must be held before May 1,2012.
