Business cards

Getting my business cards ready to print. It is amazing to me what a learning curve all of these business/photography things have. I don't feel like I am an extremely smart person but I get by. I usually figure things out pretty easily, especially if they interest me but goodness this is humbling. Guess I needed it? Just printing these cards out with the jpeg file had to be googled to get directions. This whole new venture is a learning experience and not just on the photography end. Well let me know what you think of my business card. Hope you have all had a blessed week!

Have a great weekend!

Home again, Home again!

We are home. Went to the Ranger Game last night after being gone for several days with the funeral and tending to family business. Please continue to keep my family in your prayers. We already had tickets to the Ranger game so we decided to keep our plans to go. We all had a great time but are pretty exhausted since we have been gone so many days. Glad to be home and get some rest. Concentrating on getting things ready for school to start, getting the house straightened up, and getting some photo shoots booked. Hoping today isn't too hot! Adding some pictures of the kids I took at the Waco Suspension Bridge a couple of weeks ago! Some of my favorites.

Have a blessed day!

A hole in my heart

On Saturday night our dear family lost the glue that binds us together. Our Nannie (or Nana) went home to be with Jesus. After a short illness and many attempts to fight it off, the Lord decided it was time to take her to be with Him. We are grieving but know she is rejoicing to be in Heaven. Please keep my family in your prayers as we all hold tight to each other as we grieve and remember the wonderful person she was as we memorialize her at her funeral tomorrow.

Blogger Newbie

I have been working on setting up my blog and tweaking it to make it more interesting to read. Boy I didn't know that when I set out to do photography part-time I would have to be a computer whiz in the process. There are so many more aspects that go into photography that people aren't aware of. It is more than just taking a good picture! I am loving delving into this world of photography and all the things that go along with it. Many days I feel like it stretches my brain capacity but I take a break, consult my photographer friends, and then go back and try again. I would love to be able to practice more but lately it has been just too darn hot. I wouldn't know where else I would live since I have never lived anywhere except Texas but I hate the heat.
Here's hoping for a cool front...
I know the pictures of the kids have nothing to do with my post but these are couple of my favorites so far this summer!
