Hannah Senior Pictures...

Spent the afternoon on Saturday taking pictures of a beautiful young lady with a bright future...she is a natural in front of the camera and made my job as a photographer very easy.  Helps that she is a budding photographer as well with a great eye.  Her family is very special to me.  The Lord blessed me with her mother as a friend and a  caregiver to my son.  She was such a wonderful christian influence on those all around her.  Hannah is certainly an extension of her mother in that aspect.  As I looked through the lens I could see her mother looking back at me.  Never realized how she is growing to look so much like her mother.  What a blessing the Lord bestowed upon me to be able to take her senior portraits before she embarks on all the wonderful things He has in store for her after high school.
Hope you enjoy!  These are some of my favorites...

And a few of Jaedyn too...

Peyton's Five Year Pictures

Well, of course, I always have WAY too high of expectations when I set out to take pictures of my own children.  I got a few of Peyton but no where near what I wanted, nor the quality.  Yes he was a stinker and the wind kicked up and the clouds came out and threatened to rain in the only small window I had of the one day I could photograph him. But then again at least I got a few and there we are.  My short, yet long-winded pity party about Peyton's pictures.
Hope you enjoy!  A couple really capture his personality even if they aren't the best photographic quality.
Have a blessed Sunday.  Spring Break is officially over - pity party coming again...

Spring/Easter Mini Sessions & Mommy and Me Mini Sessions

I will be offering Spring/Easter mini sessions in the month of April.  These mini sessions are ideal for a few beautiful pictures of your children/family in their Easter clothes or simply an adorable spring outfit.  Mommy and Me mini sessions will be offered in May.  These mini sessions are ideal to capture that special relationship between a mother or grandmother and her children/grandchildren.  (These are also great for Mother's Day gifts.  If you wish to purchase a gift certificate for a gift please e-mail me and I will mail it to you.) All mini sessions for this spring will include 10-20 edited images on a CD with copyright release and approximately 30-45 minutes of my portrait time for $50.  All sessions will be photographed outdoors and location will be chosen by photographer.  If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment, please contact me very soon.  Limited time slots are available.
God bless you!

The Three Muskateers's 5th Birthday Celebration

So each year Peyton and his two closest friends (who have all known each other since they were born) celebrate their birthdays together. This year the boys chose ice skating.  Each had been once or twice before and loved it so they chose to go there together.  It was so fun.  All the parents discovered that in the last few months they have all developed the concept of fear.  Just a few months ago when each went for the first time they knew no fear.  Just dove right in and skated all over the place.  This time it took some warming up to for all of them.  So funny how kids evolve.  But after the first 15-20 minutes into it they had a blast.  They loved having each other out there to watch them and keep up with.  A few photos of the day...

Peyton 5th Birthday, Part 1

Sorry this is running a little late but last week right on Peyton's birthday party day I came down with a chest cold. It really wiped me out, very weak, achy, and just sounding nasty. Then got a migraine on Friday and was very nauceous. Spring Break come quick so we can be rid of all these germs and get some rest! Can't wait - 5 more days - but the problem is, with school, is that the week before ANY holiday you work twice as hard so you really EARN those days off! So say a prayer for me that I can make it through this week.

On to better things... We celebrates with Peyton at his "family and close friends" party here at home with a "Daddy Deer Camp Hunting Birthday Party". Everyone wore some kind of camo and he loved it! We just hung out, visited, opened gifts, had some cake/ice cream (yes PawPaw we had ice cream, too bad you weren't here to enjoy it:), and enjoyed seeing each other. It was a beautiful day! On Sunday (his actual birthday), Peyton had chosen to go to Sonic to get food for a picnic at the lake. So we headed to the lake (me with my chair so I could just lay back and observe with no energy) had our Sonic picnic, fished a little, played on the playground, threw some rocks in the water, picked Momma some pretty rocks, and then went driving looking for deer. That is something we LOVE to do on Sunday afternoons. Peyton loves it too!

So here are a few pictures from our weekend...

Sorry meant to post sooner...

but I have been battling a nasty cold.  Just been drained and achy. Finally feeling more like myself today.  Meant to post on my baby boy's 5th birthday Sunday but I was pretty much in bed most of the day.  I edited a few pictures last night so look for a post on his birthday and turning the big F-I-V-E this week!  Got a few cute ones but he isn't my most cooperative subject lately!  Since I am feeling much better I have been itching to get out and take some pictures.  Which leads me to my reason for posting...

If you would be interested in an Easter/Spring mini-session please e-mail me, facebook me, or text me.  I would like to offer 1-2 Saturdays for that (hopefully a few bluebonnet pictures too!) in April but need to know if there is enough interest to plan it. Get with me soon and I will gets dates and  times arranged.  This is a beautiful time of year and perfect for those Easter clothes pictures or bunny pictures.

Have a blessed rest of your week!
